Holiday Wrapping Party

We had fun at the party last night!!!! It was great to see everyone who attended! We wrapped, we laughed, and ate some yummy food! There were a lot of lucky winners from the many door prizes as well! In January we are planning some exciting events so please keep in touch and keep logging in! Scoop Your Poop!

We have noticed an increase of pet owners who are not picking up after their pets. It is imperative to clean up pet waste for a number of reasons:
It keeps the community looking nice.
New puppies can contract an illness called Parvo through waste
Humans can contract diseases such as Salmonella and Giardia
Nobody likes stepping in disregarded pet waste!
And...IT KEEPS THE COMMUNITY LOOKING NICE!!
Any residents reported to the leasing office for not picking up after their pets will be assesed a clean up fine.

Money Money Money!!!!!

Starting today you can earn $400.00 for every person that you refer to our community. They must move in during the months of December or January for you to qualify for this amazing incentive!
Here is what we will do for them... $50.00 pays all initial fees (application fee, administration fee, and security deposit o.a.c). If they move-in during the month of December there will be no rent till January 1st, 2009! January move-ins will qualify for the discounted rates, but no free rent. This is a move-in special not to be missed out on!! Once they move-in you will need to complete the referring resident section of the "resident referral" form which you can download by clicking here, you will also need to complete a W-9 form for the IRS, to download that form click here.
If you don't have anyone that you know is looking for an apartment...THERE IS STILL HOPE! You can renew your current lease agreement with us and we will keep you at the same rate you are currently paying and give you $100.00 off your January rent. Life on the Rail

As you all know our Valley Metro Lightrail opens DECEMBER 27th!! To kick off what is promising to be a fantastic new method of transportation here in the valley, Valley Metro is hosting a grand opening party at each of the stops along the 20 mile track.
Please feel free to stop by our light rail station and support your community! We have developed an entire line of "Life On The Rail" gear, and would love to see as many of you as possible in your very own T-Shirt or Sweatshirt. If you would like to see the selection of available items click here.
Riding the light rail is free December 27th and 28th, so come out... support your community and see all that the lightrail has to offer!

Empirian Cookbook

Do you ever walk through the hallways and smell a tasty aroma of someone cooking dinner? Now we can SHARE all of those wonderful recipes with each other!!!

Send your favorite recipe to us via email or drop them off in the office because we are making an Empirian Cookbook!!! This cookbook will be free to all of our residents!! Fun, right?

Please submit your recipe and include:
-A personalized title that includes the contributor’s name
-A complete list of ingredients with measurements (even if they’re approximate)
-Step-by-step instructions for preparation
-Approximate number of servings the recipe will make
-Ideas for presentation or accompaniments
-Stories or memories associated with the recipe
-Photos of the finished dish or the person it came from

You can send all of this to kbrender@epmapartments.com or stop into the office. We hope to see your culinary creations!!! We will also be having a holiday gift wrapping party (info to come) and we would LOVE to have your dishes for everyone to sample. Yummy!!!

December Pet of the Month

It's already December!!! Meet our very energetic Dachshund team! This is Oscar and Meyer who are very excited to be our pets of the month for December.

They love to take walks and sometimes are too quick for mom to handle. Mom also has to watch out when it's treat time because Oscar takes his time to enjoy his treat, but then Meyer sneaks around to steal it from him after he's already inhaled his own.

If you see them out on property you will definately know because these two are so much fun and so very loveable!

Bring your furry friend down to Chase Field and enjoy an afternoon at the ballpark as the outfield is transformed into Arizona's most unique dog park. Dogs will love the off leash recreation and owners will enjoy the opportunity to socialize with fellow D-backs loving dog owners on the field.

Cost:

$10 donation to the D-backs Foundation grants two people and one dog admission to play catch on the field (balls or toys will not be provided)

Includes a family photo in front of the dbTV and fall weather under blue skies (roof will be open weather permitting)

$5 each per additional person or dog. Children two and younger are free.

November Pet of the Month

Everyone meet Patrick. He is a lovable Maltese mix. A wise 5 years old, Patrick is quite a character. Most dogs love to play go-fetch. Patrick will go get what you throw.. but will not give it back till he gets bored with it. So it is pretty much game over at that point unless you have other things to throw at him.

He loves treats, fuzzy toys, tummy rubs and massages.

Patrick has a huge ego and he seems to think he is a superhero of sorts because he will not back down from a fight... even when against a 100 pound Rottweiler. But then again... he has never had to use his skills yet so this is pure speculation.

So if you see Patrick around show him the love and adoration he demands.

Mon-Thurs: 9am to 6pm
Friday: 9am to 4:30pm
Saturday: Closed

October Pet of the Month

Hello all! Meet Bianca, our October Pet of the Month!!! Bianca is a 3 year old Peek-a-Pom. She keeps her girly figure by staying picky about what she eats, turning her nose up at anything other than Cesar dog food. Bianca also stays fit by chasing around her favorite toy... the lazer pointer. She loves car rides and going for many walks! If you see her around, she might be a little shy, but this little one is as sweet as pie!

September Pet of the Month

Hello everyone! Meet Frenchie! She is our pet of the month for September. Frenchie was found here on property as a kitten and taken in by our leasing consultant/resident, Dominique. Our little furry friend is 2 years old and she loves to hang out on the balcony and watch birds. Frenchie also likes to steal Q-tips from the jar and hide them around the house for mom to find!

Please make adjustments to any planned maintenance requests or visits you may have scheduled with the leasing office. Maintenance will be available to complete service requests on Sundays, during the month of October, between the hours of 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Leasing office hours during the month of October will be extended on Mondays to accomodate you until 7:00 PM.

Our new community blog is just one of the many things we have to be excited about as residents of Empirian At Steele Park as well as Downtown Phoenix! We hope that everyone will use this space to share positive community information with your friends and neighbors as well as using it to discover things you may not even have known exsisted right in your very own back yard. Over the course of the last few years our desert city has grown by leaps and bounds. With the addition of the Metro Light Rail Project, we are all going to have access to a public transportation method that is convenient and environmentally friendly.
